How to see the statue of Liberty for free?

The Statue of Liberty is one of New York’s most well-known and admired icons. This is located on Liberty Island at the south of Manhattan, next to the mouth of the Hudson River where you can access it by ferry. This ferry is operated by the New York City Department of Transportation and is completely free. The trip goes from its station to the south of Manhattan, side of Battery Park to Staten Island. It works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You have a panoramic view that goes past the statue of liberty. The journey lasts approximately 25 minutes each way.

The importance of this ferry has grown over time, becoming not only a means of transportation, but an icon of our city, appearing in several series and movies like in Sex and the City and Spiderman.
